During the tummy tuck procedure, you won’t feel anything due to the general anesthesia. After the procedure, though the sensation varies from each patient, there should be a general expectation of discomfort. If there’s a scale of pain from 1to10 to, then:
- During the first week: 6-7
- During the second week: 3-4
The feeling of pain should reduce over time. If you can’t bear that, ask your surgeon to prescribe some pain-relief medications.
